Other options may require work to be done on other teeth to make room. Not so with dental implants. The titanium screw is put in one area and then the abutment fits in that same space. The implant anchors itself – it doesn’t impact any of the other teeth in the vicinity. This also makes brushing and flossing easier since it acts as a natural tooth.

You don’t have to worry about giving these the denture treatment, taking them out to soak.etc. The dental implants get brushed and flossed just like regular teeth. They won’t shift around – barring any problems with jaw mass as time goes on. This gives you peace of mind – but it also means that you have to maintain a regular brushing and flossing routine, since things can happen under the tooth if things are neglected.
The Crown Can Be Made of Different Material
It depends on where the crown is going to placed in your mouth. If it’s going to be in the front, then they will likely be made of porcelain or ceramic. If they are going to be in the back of the mouth, they may be metal since they won’t be seen and are also much more durable to withstand the pressure that comes with chewing.
Dental implants are a very good investment, since they last up to 25 years. They more than pay for themselves over the course of that time.
